DIFRACTION OF THE GAUSSIAN BEAM ON THIN GOLOGRAFIC GRATING

Abstract

     It is shown that the diffraction field during the difraction of the Gaussian beam on the dense lattice with sinusoidal bandwidth represent itself as three Gaussian wave beams. Directions of the diffracted beams propagation are determined by the same formula as for plane waves. The diffraction efficiency of the hologram is the same as for plane waves.
