THE DEPENDENCE OF BREAKDOWN CAPACITY THRESHOLD ON PRESSURE OF GAS IN VARIOUS OPERATING REGIMES OF THE GENERATOR OF MICROWAVE - RADIATION WITH JUMPING PHASE
Abstract
In the report results of experimental researches of breakdown in rarefied gas by pulse microwave radiation with stochastic jumps of phase (MWRSJP) in various operating modes of the beam-plasma generator are resulted. It has been earlier shown [1], that in MWRSJP acceleration of the charged particles and having heated plasmas is effectively carried out. We shall remind, that thus there is an exchange of energy between MWRSJP and the charged particles, despite lacking pair impacts or synchronism in movement of particles and propagationof electromagnetic fields. A role of frequency of pair impacts thus play jumps of phases MWRSJP, and average got by a particle for the period energy is proportional to frequency of
jumps of a phase. In works [1-3] it is established, that abnormal behaviour: factor of penetration of such electromagnetic waves, conditions of breakdown by them of gas, maintenance of the microwave gas discharge and collisionless electron heating are connected to jumps of a phase.
