ILLUMINATION OF SCULPTURAL MONUMENTS BY MEANS OF PROJECTION SYSTEMS
Keywords:

The main task of the modern lighting engineering is creation of the comfortable light environment for work and rest of the person, preservation of its health at effective use of electric energy today. With arrival of twilight in the city street lamps are lit, windows of houses and show-windows shine, advertizing sparkles. It is rather difficult to allocate monuments and sculptures which it is examined from all directions from the common light environment. The new system of illumination of monuments consisting in creation in the plane of a monument is offered to receive not a light spot, but its sharp image. It is reached by illumination of a monument by means of a projector with a slide for each monument separately, proceeding from geometrical parameters of the covered object, distance to it and the level of brightness. The main normative document by which it is necessary to be guided is DBN B.2.5.-28-2006, taking into account change of
function of the relative light effectiveness for twilight vision.
Researches showed advantages of projective system to illumination of monuments. At such approach the blinding action of light is almost completely excluded.
