RESEARCH OF ELECTRO-PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF HIGH INTENSITY DISCHARGE LAMPS

Abstract

The results of researches of electro-physical properties of high intensity discharge lamps are represented in the article. Non-linearity of resistance of such lamps and purely active
type have been proved theoretically and experimentally. It has been also proved that nonlinear pure resistance causes the consumption of reactive-power. The author demonstrates
that only a presence of exchange processes by energy between a source and element: direct and reverse transmission of power can serve as the criterion of inductance.
