SPECIFIC POWER OF HEAT SOURCES IN THE INDUCTION HEATING DEVICES

Abstract

Mathematic model of the electro-magnetic field propagation in the heat-exchanger has been developed. Basing on this model, as well as using the Joule-Lenz law the expressions, which make possible to find the specific power of the heat sources in each area of the heat-exchanger area depending on the coordinate, have been obtained. The model takes into account both the geometric sizes of the device and the physical and electro-engineering properties of the material the heat – exchanger is made of, as well as the properties of the heat carrier.
